How the TRUE TRACKER ® Monitoring System Works

A monitoring panel located near the electric power (or at the generator) is connected to start wires which monitor the available power going into the equipment being monitored. When the power is interrupted, a signal is sent back to API's Central Station using wireless technology.

Through the use of customized software programming, the message is interpreted (cause; temporary power outage, burned out lights, fault created by miss-use, deficient parts, or breakdown) and an alert is sent to the recipient indicating if a correction is needed. Depending upon the pre-set actions desired, when the fault is reported, the customer can correct the problem or have their designated service company handle the necessary repairs.

TRUE TRACKER ®  GENERATOR MONITORING

An emergency standby generator will check in at every exercise cycle. If your generator fails to check in; a signal will be sent to API’s Central Station as well as to your designated technician along with your own computer, to alert you to a fault. This gives you the opportunity to have the problem corrected before the generator is called upon for a power outage.
